Canada's day

It is celebrated on July 1 of each year to celebrate the independence of Canada from the UK in 1867.
The holiday was formally established in 1867 and originally called Dominion Day. The name was changed to Canada Day in October 1982. The day is often celebrated with parades and outdoor parties. Every year in the Canadian capital city of Ottawa there are great celebrations on the lawn of the national parliament buildings. Also, in cities such as Montreal and Toronto are some of the largest parades in the country.1
This day takes place in the province of Quebec, the "Moving Day" where large numbers of people moving from one city to another home or at the end of their annual lease contracts.
It is good to note, even painful, this festival, the first of July, where the day of the move or fret buzz held; looking to sabotage or prevent any parade or celebration date.
